Some things to remember:
We only have one life to live.
Everyone has a story.
We each have the same amount of time.
We each have wisdom gained from our lived experiences.
We don’t live life alone but within our relational context we create a life with others. I firmly believe we author our life through the company we keep, choices we make, priorities we set, and by actively tending to our physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual self. I turned 60 this year and this milestone has me reflective and contemplative about my biography including what I’ve done and what I still want to do. The phrase, you only have one life to live, is so powerful in the way it reminds us that the story of our life is a story that we write. Questions like what is my story, what experiences have I had, what do I still want to do and accomplish are in the forefront of my mind. So today, I’m contemplating where I stand. What is the story I want to write now?
