There is something magical about live theater. When I was a little girl, I went on a class trip to see Sound of Music and was hooked. The costumes, staging, makeup and nowness of live theater drew me in. So much so, that I joined the drama club in high school where we produced two shows a year including organizing a trip to London to see theater!!! I so love our local Arizona Theater Company and the way their shows transport me to another world, expose me to genres and topics I might not have explored on my own, and are provide hubster and I at least six dates a year!!! Supporting local theater is about the importance of our local Arizona Theater Company, supporting the arts in general, and live theater specifically. My life is so much richer from being engaged and seeing live theater!!
